PAPUAAROUND – The youth and people of West Papua enthusiastically welcome the government’s plan to build the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building in Manokwari Regency, West Papua.
According to Simon Tabuni, the Coordinator of Inspiring Young Papuans (PMI) for West Papua Province, the PYCH building in Manokwari will be a place for the younger generation to develop themselves, their interests and talents in advancing the Land of Papua.
The construction of the PYCH building in Manokwari Regency was based on orders, ideas and support from President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) and General Pol (Purn) BIN, Budi Gunawan, followed by Deputy IV for Economic Information at BIN, Made Kartikajaya.
“On behalf of the youth in Manokwari, West Papua, we are very grateful to President Joko Widodo and to the Head of BIN, Pak Budi Gunawan, for this extraordinary support,” said Simon in West Manokwari, Kab. Manokwari, Thursday (9/2).

Simon said the building would later become a place to increase creativity and innovation among West Papuan youth.
Papuan youth can take advantage of its facilities for human resource development.
“When young people move and contribute through their creative ideas, development will proceed,” said the alumni of the master’s program at the University of London.
The Regent of Manokwari, Hermus Indou, said that his party fully supports the construction of the PYCH building in Manokwari Regency.
