PAPUAAROUND – Dozens of Papua young men and women who are members of the Papua Muda Inspiratif (PMI) are ready to appear in front of President Joko Widodo to inaugurate the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) building in Jayapura, Papua.
“We had model auditions, hundreds of participants who participated and all were very talented. But the best of the best was selected, there were 30 models selected,” said PMI General Coordinator Billy Mambrasar in Jakarta, Monday (16/1/2023).
PMI General Coordinator Billy Mambrasar revealed that hundreds of Papua youths were enthusiastic about participating in the audition.
The special staff of the president said that the young man would appear in the best clothes by the original designer of the Land of Papua.
Billy Mambrasar noted that young Papua talents will appear in front of President Joko Widodo who will soon inaugurate a magnificent building with a traditional touch and complete facilities, the pride of these Papua youth.

In addition, his party also held dancer auditions, marching bands until later there will be PYCH carnival activities.
Billy Mambrasar emphasized that PMI wants to display the golden generation of Papua youth with various talents and skills that will contribute to Indonesia’s development.
“The carnival before the inauguration was intended to show, we were not only providing the PYCH building, but that the man and his talents were already there, before the building was finished,” he asserted.
One of the auditionees, Cheniva Yarangga (17), said she was happy because she was chosen to be one of the female models. He is determined to put on his best performance at the inauguration ceremony.
“My feeling is very happy. I’m actually very nervous about appearing before the president, but I’m going to give my best,” he said.

The YPCH building, which was inaugurated by President Jokowi, consists of a main building consisting of two floors, and two dormitory buildings.
In this building there are rooms for MSME products, training rooms, meeting rooms, multipurpose rooms, rooms that can be used for co-working spaces, technology learning rooms, to libraries.
There is also an auditorium-shaped room that can accommodate more than hundreds of people. This room can be used for performances, religious and others.
“We are focused on educating and improving Papua human resources,” he said.
Billy Mambrasar expressed his gratitude to President Jokowi and Director General of BIN Pol (Ret.) Budi Gunawan for building the PYCH building.
“Thank you for the reward of this facility. We Papua children are ready to build Indonesia from the land of Papua,” he promised.
