PAPUAAROUND — The Papua youth association incorporated in the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH) launched four applications for the advancement of Papua development.
In a written statement in Jakarta, Wednesday, program coordinator Nanny Uswanas explained that the applications were pacific park tour and travel, containder (waste bank management), village companion application, and Papua talent management.
PYCH is part of the Inspirational Young Papua organization assisted by the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).
He explained pacific park tour and travel is an application to provide solutions to tourism problems in the region in Papua.

Then, the containder application to manage waste management. In addition to increasing awareness of the environment, the application can increase retribution to increase APBD income and reduce operational costs.
According to Nanny, the waste management system in Papua is still very manual. A lot of garbage is scattered around the house.
“So, the community can also track and report through this application the garbage that is scattered. An example has been done in Bintuni Regency, West Papua,” he said.
Then, there is a village companion application that is devoted to the community, youth, women leaders, and religious leaders who care about regional development.

The next application introduced was Papua talent management. According to Nanny, this application is a new innovation made by Inspirational Young Papua. This application was also made to answer people’s concerns and statements about where Papua talents are.

“So far, it has been difficult for people to find Papua talents, because if they go to several agencies, they don’t find the skills needed by industry or other private sectors,” she explained.
Nanny, representing young Papua, expressed her gratitude to President Joko Widodo for building the PYCH building in Jayapura, Papua.
“I represent all members of Papua Muda Inspiratif throughout Papua, would like to say thank you very much to Mr. Jokowi who has provided a platform for talent development in Papua,” she said.
She also thanked the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) for fostering and providing full support for their creations and work.
Nanny hopes that the PYCH building can be built in several areas in Papua. Because, the Papua region is very wide and its young people are scattered in other areas.
