PAPUAAROUND — Bukisi Beach is one of the most attractive tourist destinations in Papua.
Bukisi Beach is located in Yokari District, Jayapura Regency.
Quoted from Disbudpar.jayapurakab.go.id, Bukisi Beach can be reached by land vehicle from Sentani city center or Sentani Airport then continued by boat or speedboat from the Depapre area.

Nature’s Charm
In the Yokari language, the name Bukisi Beach comes from the words “bu” which means water and “kiki” which means white sand.
Bukisi Beach is a white sandy beach with clear turquoise water.
Around the beach, visitors can see various trees such as cypress and coconut trees.
Going deeper into this coastal area, there is a river with clear water called Kali Maru.
On the banks of the river there are green trees that make the atmosphere more beautiful.
Visitors can go down the river by renting a motorboat.
Along Bukisi Beach there are also several homestays and traditional pavilions that visitors can rent to rest.
