PAPUAAROUND — Several ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet accompanied President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) during the inauguration of the Papua Youth Creative Hub (PYCH), Jayapura. They took a photo together.
Based on photos shared by the Press Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat, Tuesday (21/3/2023), Jokowi’s ministers who took part in the photo are Minister of Defense Prabowo Subianto, Minister of Social Affairs Tri Rismaharini, Minister of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries Sakti Wahyu Trenggono, Minister of Investment Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Law and Human Rights Yasonna Laoly, and Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno. Also present were TNI Commander Admiral Yudo Margono and National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
The ministers displayed different styles. Yasonna and Sigit were seen giving thumbs up, while Risma raised her right hand and smiled at the camera.

On the left, Prabowo seemed to point his right hand forward. Sandiaga, who was at the bottom, seemed to be posing with three fingers and Bahlil raised his hand as if forming a triangle sign.
The clothes used by Jokowi’s ministers were mostly black. After finishing, the ministers immediately checked the results of the joint photo.
On that occasion, Jokowi also reviewed a number of product booths produced by Papua youths at the PYCH. Jokowi also received a jacket gift from Papua fashion designer Eunike Yunita.
Eunike gave the jacket she designed to Jokowi in the form of a brown bomber jacket. Jokowi immediately accepted and wore the jacket made by the original work of the nation’s children.

“We see that Mr. President likes to wear a stylish style, so we try maybe with the product that we made specifically, Mr. President likes it,” Eunika said in a written statement from the Press, Media and Information Bureau of the Presidential Secretariat.
Eunike explained that the jacket was made by combining Papua batik motifs in the pocket. “We combine the Papua batik that we made with other materials,” Eunike explained.
Eunike also hopes that with the presence of PYCH, fashion designers in Papua can also have the opportunity to hold fashion festivals like other regions. This is considered important to introduce Papua culture more widely.
“We have high hopes that we are also given the same opportunity as Jember Fashion Week to hold festivals every year because from there we can introduce Papua from a different side,” she said.
