PAPUAAROUND – The Papua Province contingent is targeting maximum results in the VII 2023 National Community Recreation Sports Festival (Fornas) which will be held in Bandung, West Java.
Just to note, Papua has participated in as many as 23 Sports Parent (Inorga).
On this occasion, Assistant II for the Economy and People’s Welfare of the Regional Secretariat of the Papua Province, Suzana Wanggai said, Papua is optimistic about winning gold in these 23 Inorga.
“Our hope is that Papua can bring champions,” said Suzana Wanggai to the media crew, at the Andromeda Building, Bandung, West Java, Monday (3/7/2023).
However, said Suzana Wanggai, the most important thing is to build friendship.
“The most important thing is how to build hospitality, togetherness, with our brothers and sisters from other provinces in Indonesia,” he said.
Wanggai said, Papua is optimistic that it can achieve success in this National VII 2023 National National Competition.
“We are optimistic, if we want to see that there are already targets and the winning spirit is visible. At the time of the release of the contingent in Papua a few weeks ago,” he said.
Wanggai continued, this optimism can be seen from the dispatched contingents, who were highly trained and well-selected.
“Our target is 23 inorga. All of them can get gold. What’s important is optimism,” he said.
