Papua Health Office Maximizes Health Services After DOB

PAPUAAROUND – The Papua Provincial Health Office maximized health services in nine districts/cities after the existence of the New Autonomous Region (DOB). Before the expansion, the paradise earth had 29 regencies/cities.

Head of the Papua Provincial Health Office, dr. Robby Kayame said, currently there are only 9 regencies/cities left. Therefore, the burden of health services on the paradise earth is already small and will be optimal in the future.

“With the existence of nine districts/cities, health services are maximized. With the hope that all Papuans can get better access to health and services because the concentration is narrowed. This includes maximizing development in this case in the health sector,” said dr. Robby Kayame.

Meanwhile, dr. Robby Kayame said that health services in the three DOB areas are proceeding as usual. There are even strategic priority programs between local areas.

As Dr. Robby Kayame said, in the DOB region, namely Mountain Papua, Central Papua and South Papua, there are already chief health service officials appointed by the Pj Governor.

“Definitely they’re working to their full potential. We hope they can coordinate with those of us in the Parent Province about what is being followed up. The Papua Provincial Health Office continues to anticipate, including collaborating with these three DOB regions. If we ask for help, we are ready to provide assistance for these three DOB areas related to handling in the health world,” he concluded.
