Nduga Traditional Leader: The Community Is Overjoyed with the Police’s Presence

Kenyam – Members of the National Police have won the hearts of the people of Nduga Regency, Papua through the Binmas Noken Police Task Force for the Cartenz Peace Operation. Even local traditional leaders admit that the community is very happy with the existence of the Police.

This was conveyed by Ruben M Kaloli, a traditional leader of Nduga, Papua. He appreciated the members of the Binmas Noken Task Force who came directly to touch the community.

“The programs from Binmas Noken are very touching and the community is happy about it. We are very happy that the police immediately helped us,” he said, Thursday (17/2/2022).

According to him, the Nduga people are very happy to be noticed.

“Police can run a well-designed program through the Binmas unit. We are very happy if they visit in person,” he said.

Ruben admitted that as a traditional leader of Nduga, he was willing to help the police in securing him.

“Our hope is that the situation will always be conducive,” he said.

It is known that the National Police Noken Task Force under Operation Peaceful Cartenz is a policy program for the National Police Chief to directly touch the community.

The main task of Binmas Noken Polri is to carry out humanitarian police missions or operations or soft approach policing in the Central Highlands of Papua.
