PAPUAAROUND – Director of Consumer Service as well as Acting Director of Enterprise & Business Services Telkom Indonesia, FM Venusiana R won the 2023 International Dedication Award. The award was given in the series of the Pesona Tanah Papua Festival (FESPA) which raises the artistic and cultural potential of the land of Papua.
Chairperson of FESPA 2023 Rosaline Rumaseuw explained that Venusiana was chosen as the recipient of the award based on her contribution to the advancement of her homeland in Papua. Venusiana also supports the development and progress of Papuan women intellectuals.
He assessed that Venusiana pays attention to the progress of various sectors in Papua, such as tourism, education, arts, culture and social affairs. Where this is realized through the IndiHome Wonderful Papua program which has a positive impact on the progress of Papua.
He added, as Telkom’s Consumer Service Director, Venusiana continues to pay attention, share experiences, references, and educate for the advancement of the Papuan people.
“Because she was born in Papua, it is clear that Venusiana has a very big heart and concern for the people of Papua,” said the General Chairperson of the Papuan Women’s Scholars in a written statement, Thursday (4/5/2023).
It is known that Venusiana was born in Manokwari, Papua, and continued her education in Semarang and Makassar. Venusiana is listed as the first woman born in Papua to serve as Director of Consumer Service at Telkom Indonesia as well as Acting Director of Enterprise & Business Services Telkom Indonesia.
Venusiana also expressed her gratitude for the award given. He hopes that the 2023 International Dedication Award will become a motivation to provide the best for the progress of the Indonesian nation, especially in the Papua region.
“I hope that other great women from Papua will be born who will continue to work and give dedication and contribution to the nation, especially in the Papua region,” said Venusiana.

Deputy Chief of Police for Manokwari, Agustina Sineri, and Assistant III for General Affairs of the Regional Secretariat of the Papua Province, Derek Hagemur.
