1. Bukisi Beach

The word ‘bu’ means water and ‘lattice’ means white sand.

Bukisi Beach is a beautiful place with a stretch of white sand and has clear turquoise water.

Bukisi Beach is located in the north of Jayapura Regency, precisely in Yokari District can be reached by road trip -/+ 80 km from Sentani City and the airport or by boat or speedboat from Depapre District.

Around the beach, tourists can see a variety of trees including cypress and coconut trees.

Not far from this beach is the Maru River which is a clear water river. The outskirts of this river are heavily overgrown with sago trees. Visitors can go down the river by renting a motorboat.
